More Than a Yoga Studio.
We are a Healing Justice Movement.
The Tree is a community-led yoga school and wellness hub rooted in healing justice, connecting personal wellbeing with collective liberation. Practice with us, Learn & Grow with us, or Partner with us — all with the same intention: to care for your mind and body, nurture your relationship with yourself and others, and build a community centered on accessible yoga and life-affirming practices for greater joy, wellbeing, and liberation.
Come as you are. Leave with more self awareness, resilience, clarity, and calm.

LEARN & GROW
Deepen your practice. Expand what’s possible.
Grow your practice through training & immersive programs that deepen self-awareness, strengthen leadership, and bring yoga into everyday life. From Yoga Teacher Trainings, Wellness Retreats, Youth Yoga, or one of our other continuing education and multi-week yoga immersion programs — Deepen your personal experience with yoga and embody more of the practice in everyday life. These programs are for people who want a deeper, longer, or more transformative experience.
PARTNER WITH US
Bring Wellness to Your People
Partnerships, private experiences, and space for gathering—designed to support your people and your purpose. We create meaningful wellness experiences that help reduce stress, strengthen connection, and support people in feeling and functioning better; so you all can thrive together. This is for groups who want to integrate accessible wellness within the culture of your workplace, school, organization, or community with a wellness partnership designed around your needs.
There are many ways to help The Tree grow, serve, and stay rooted in South Central LA. Your support helps to expand access and sustain this work.
Students and community members say The Tree as a place where they feel at home, more connected to their bodies, more confident and self-aware, supported in community, and equipped with practices they can carry into everyday life. After a class, workshop, retreat, or partnership with The Tree, participants describe feeling lighter, more connected, more confident, more aware of their bodies and emotions, and supported with practices that extend far beyond the mat.

As a worker-owned cooperative based in South Central Los Angeles, that is Women + Black + Chicana + Immigrant owned, we find it important that people of color know that we are a safe space to enjoy wellness practices, to teach, work, and offer their services.
