Our internships are designed to align with your academic goals, whether you're studying Public Health, Community Health, Business, Cooperative Education, Health Equity, or Wellness.

Potential Intern Tasks & Projects

Public Health & Community Health Tasks:

1. Community Outreach & Partnership Building:

  • Research and establish connections with local health clinics, schools, and community organizations for collaborations.

  • Assist in developing health education workshops and events that address mental, physical, and emotional well-being through yoga.

  • Work on outreach projects promoting trauma-informed yoga programs for underserved populations.

2. Health Education Material Development:

  • Create and design educational materials (flyers, brochures, social media content) about the health benefits of yoga and mindfulness practices.

  • Develop health-centered blog posts, newsletters, and wellness guides for our community members.

  • Assist in the creation of trauma-informed wellness programming for diverse populations, including youth, seniors, and those impacted by chronic illness.

3. Program Development & Evaluation:

  • Assist in the design and evaluation of health programs and yoga classes tailored for specific populations, including youth, seniors, and individuals with chronic conditions.

  • Analyze participant data and feedback to evaluate program success and identify areas for improvement.

  • Support long-term projects that aim to promote health equity and address social determinants of health through yoga.

4. Survey Creation & Data Collection:

  • Help develop surveys and collect data from yoga participants about their health status and progress.

  • Analyze the data to generate reports for future program development and grant applications.

  • Assist in community needs assessments to inform future program offerings.
